Ge’ez – Tigrinya translation of the Enuma Elish – The 7 tablets of creation – Tablet 2 – Part 1



One thing you have to ask yourself is how does Ge’ez/Tigrinya translation give an accurate historical and contextual etymology which makes much more sense than the manistream translations. I will leave you to your own judgement.


ENUMA ELIS – HE SAID, I AM
TABLET 2

the mother Tiamat she didn’t have a heavy heart, she was leaning back and forth, dancing,

arrogantly Tiamat told them going one by one,

could be seen with a spear on their faces and force them,

to completely foget their brother forever.

they twisted her hands then artfully and she let go then,

they tried tying her hands, but Tiamat refused,

she said heavy torments is coming their way,

she picked one of them and called him, unable to speak,

and weeping, silence she said, and he knew he was all alone, then he started praying.

he was accompanied by the shofar sounds as he came,

she explained to him why she can’t forgive him. come forth and lower yourself to the ground like your brother.
