Ge’ez – Tigrinya translation of Enuma Elish – The 7 Tablets of Creation – Part 2

One thing you have to ask yourself is how does Ge’ez/Tigrinya translation give an accurate historical and contextual etymology which makes much more sense than the manistream translations. I will leave you to your own judgement.

ENUMA ELIS – HE SAID, I AM
TABLET 1

He looked but he couldn’t find the seventh one,

Anu at that time lost his genitals. A transagession !

Anu seemed to believe Ansar was the one who cut it off,

Anu then had a son resembling himself, Nudimmud,

Nudimmud came at that time and asked, then he heard,

and his alabaster ears bended becuase of his fiery flames, he took flight

to his adversary and he couldn’t find the son of Ansar,

and when he couldn’t find him, he came to the one he blamed,

flaming with fire he came,

and it was at that time that he defeated Tiamat, and her essence

was engulfed in fire and Tiamat was glowing red,

and she concealed herself, that is when he got closer and saw what should not be seen.
