Ge’ez – Tigrinya translation of Enuma Elish – The 7 Tablets of creation – Part 3

One thing you have to ask yourself is how does Ge’ez/Tigrinya translation give an accurate historical and contextual etymology which makes much more sense than the manistream translations. I will leave you to your own judgement.

ENUMA ELIS – HE SAID, I AM
TABLET 1

Abzu flew over and cursed him then,

And Tiamat suffering about to die, her face,

he rested it on a cushion, to bring her back at that time,

his wisdom and divination didn’t wake her up. He adorned her with her necklace,

And Abzu went around telling the God’s and Goddess’s,

In the name and blood of the great mother those who revolve and remember her,

In the name of the great mother those who revolve, their courage will be two fold,

and record every atonement of Tiamat and send it to me,

And they sent him about her sweetness from ancient times, when souls died,

she elevates their names higher. He said, my sweetheart then,

Abzu at that time, when he heard,

of Tiamat and her sweetness he started reminiscing.
